As part of our celebrations for World Book Day we're holding a special socktastic 'Rescue Chair' event for pre-school children (aged 2-5 years). If you haven't been to 'The Rescue Chair' before it's metaphorical of course, we rescue the parents and entertain the children! Sue chooses a story to read she really likes and we follow it with creative activities, all themed.
To celebrate World Book Day we'll be reading Nick Sharratt's fantastic new picture book 'Socks' and doing some socky-wocky making too! So put on your jolliest socks for stories, songs and a sockywockydoodah time!
The session costs £3 per accompanying adult which includes a complimentary drink in our cafe ... relax with a coffee or a pot of tea while we entertain the children!!
