Easter Holiday Eggstravaganza!

The Rescue Chair is back for an Easter holiday Eggstravaganza! Thursday 5th and Thursday 12th April Two sessions: 10 -10.45am 3-5yrs, 11.30am - 12.15pm 6yr-9yrs

It doesn't seem five minutes since the half-term holiday, but here we are at Easter. Sue will be reading and telling stories with an 'eggy theme' this time. The children come and enjoy a story followed by creative activities.

Sessions are suitable for children aged three to nine (each session is pitched at a different level) and cost £3 per accompanying adult which includes a complimentary drink in our cafe ... so come and 'take a perch' and relax with a coffee or a pot of tea while we entertain the children!!

Summer Fashion For Children

We have caught up with Kirsty from Button Nose Children's Designing Clothing Shop here in Bramhall. She gives us some stylish tips on what our children should be wearing this Spring/ Summer.

The buds are on the trees,the nights are getting lighter and spring is in the air. At last we can start thinking about our childrens Summer wardrobes. Believe it or not at Button Nose designer childrens wear, March is our busiest month. We sell more summer outfits now than we would in June or July.

Socktastic "Rescue Chair"

Thursday 1st March 10AM - 10.45AM

As part of our celebrations for World Book Day we're holding a special socktastic 'Rescue Chair' event for pre-school children (aged 2-5 years).  If you haven't been to 'The Rescue Chair' before it's metaphorical of course, we rescue the parents and entertain the children! Sue chooses a story to read she really likes and we follow it with creative activities, all themed.

To celebrate World Book Day we'll be reading Nick Sharratt's fantastic new picture book 'Socks'  and doing some socky-wocky making too! So put on your jolliest socks for stories, songs and a sockywockydoodah time!
